Rome International Film Festival 2008

In the Northwest of the 1970's, a down and almost out loner comes up with an escape plan from his life to hijack an airplane. Falling in love with a preternaturally-composed, young stewardess during the flight is not part of his plan...but it happens. Even though he pulls off the heist of a lifetime, he's left with a bittersweet feeling when he bids her goodbye and parachutes out the back of the Boeing 727. As he drifts earthward, it gradually dawns on him that not getting to see her again may be the least of his problems.
