Rome International Film Festival 2008

Charlie Winters has a recurring nightmare that is all to real. Every time he wakes up he tastes blood in his mouth. He know that the only way to conquer this nightmare is to search out it's most likely cause, a razor blade apple. After listening to his teachers warnings he compiles a list of suspects and systematically tracks them down, but when 'the childless old crone', 'the quiet loner' and 'the person you least suspect' all check out, he considers giving up on his quest. Just when we think all hope is lost for Charlie he remembers one last suspect, the new neighbor. The neighbor scares charlie who accidentally falls down and gets knocked out when he comes to, the neighbor tries his best to comfort Charlie. He tells him why halloween is so special, and his quest for a razor blade apple is silly when compared to the real scary things that are out there. Charlie leaves the neighbors house with broader horizons, or does he?
