Ama Doren is based on a compelling true story about drug abuse by Kosovo’s youth. Besi, a young boy trying to be a man and impress his girlfriend, takes a wrong turn on life’s path and enters a world that is slowly revealed as one of pain and death, even though it was once thought to be a world of joy. The reality of Prishtina (Kosovo’s capital) is much more bitter and dark than realized by its inhabitants.

This film is about Denmark’s most well known and debated “whistleblower,” former Military Intelligence Officer Frank Grevil, and his 14-year-old daughter.In 2004 Frank leaked confidential reports regarding information on how military intelligence estimated the possibilities of Iraq being in possession of weapons of mass destruction. Frank, a widower and father of a teenage daughter is now facing a prison sentence due to his actions. How will they cope? And what was his real motive?
